2. Overview
Stellaro.net is a digital service for Human Design, Western astrology and Jyotish. It runs on our own servers in Germany. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising services, embed no social media plugins and load no external fonts or scripts from third parties.
3. Visiting the website (server logs)
When you access the site, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, the address requested, status code, volume of data transferred, referrer and browser identification. The purpose is secure, error-free operation and defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Logs are generally deleted after 14 days.
4. User account and login
An account is required to use the calculator. We process your email address, user name, a hashed password, the plan you have chosen, your remaining quota and the times of registration and confirmation. To confirm registration and to reset your password we send an email containing a one-time link. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures). The data is deleted when you have your account deleted; unconfirmed accounts are removed after 30 days at the latest.
5. Cookies and session
We only set technically necessary cookies. Specifically: sn_lang stores your language choice and sn_tk the interpretation system you selected, both with a lifetime of one year; the WordPress cookies keep you logged in during your session. Under section 25 (2) TDDDG no consent is required for this, so there is no cookie banner. Your behaviour is not analysed.
6. Birth data and calculations
For a calculation you enter a name or label, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth, and for partner analyses the corresponding details of the second person. We use this data solely to produce the analysis you requested. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
If you enter another person’s data, please make sure you are entitled to do so and that the person is informed.
7. Saved readings
Readings are only stored when you actively save them. They are then linked to your account so that you can open them again under „My readings“ and, depending on your plan, download them as a PDF. We store the input data, the settings chosen, the calculation result and the text of the reading. You can have individual readings or all of them deleted at any time. Deleting your account also deletes the readings saved with it.
8. AI-assisted readings
For the textual reading we use a language model provided by Anthropic PBC, 548 Market St, PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. The calculated chart data as well as the label, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth you entered are transmitted to Anthropic. Your email address, user name and IP address are not transmitted. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. According to Anthropic’s own statements, content submitted through its API is not used to train its models. Please do not enter particularly sensitive information in free-text fields.
Readings are generated automatically. They are not an automated decision with legal effect within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
9. Quota and payment
To bill paid plans we store booking data and the status of your quota. Payments will be handled by a payment service provider once this is available; full payment details such as card numbers are not stored by us. Statutory retention periods under tax law of up to ten years (section 147 AO, section 257 HGB) remain unaffected.
10. Email
System emails (confirmation, password reset, notices about your account) are sent via the provider’s mail server. No newsletter is sent without separate consent.
11. Hosting and processing on our behalf
The servers are located in a data centre in Germany. The data centre operator processes data as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Backups are stored encrypted and deleted after 30 days. The fonts used (Cormorant Garamond, Inter) are served locally from our own server; no Google Fonts or other external files are loaded, so your IP address is not passed on to anyone.
12. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please contact info@stellaro.net.

13. Changes
We adapt this policy when the service or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
