Mercury Moves into Scorpio, the Moon Stretches Toward the Node

The Stars Today

On September 30, 2026, the sky makes two sign changes at once: Mercury moves from Libra into Scorpio at 11:44 UTC, and the Moon moves from Taurus into Gemini at 17:26 UTC. These positions refer to the tropical, Western zodiac. The waning gibbous Moon marks a phase of closing out and sifting through, while several tense aspects cluster around Mars.
